The TAGB Tigers is a young children's martial arts class offering energetic, exciting activities that aim to put the fun back into physical fitness through the popular martial art of Tae Kwon-do. At a time when there is increasing concern about levels of activity in children, the TAGB Tigers aim to encourage a habit of fitness that children will carry through into adulthood. Classes are in line with the national curriculum requirements for P.E and incorporate target setting to provide easily attainable goals.
Children are taught in a postive manner, allowing for all ages and abilities. Not only will children see improvements in their fitness and flexibility through regular participation in Tigers classes, but they will also learn how their bodies work and how important it is to be active. As a martial art, the TAGB Tigers offer discipline and motivation and encourage a postive, self confident attitude.
The TAGB Tigers classes have been designed with the younger child in mind. Classes are structured with lots of activities in order to keep the children concentrating and motivated. Due to the young age of the Tigers, a lot of time is spent teaching the fundamentals in order to build a strong foundation for children to build more complicated techniques upon.
There are many benefits of training that include teaching children their left from their right, good balance, coordination, team and social skills that all go towards developing a positive mental attitude.
